Have you ever noticed how easy it is to focus on what you don’t have, rather than appreciating all that you do? In my reading sessions, I often invite clients to explore this simple yet transformative question: “Can you find what you already have within what you believe you lack?”
At first, this idea often brings a look of surprise—yet it opens the door to powerful realisations. For example, you might say, “I don’t have children.” But with that, you may also discover you have more financial freedom, greater flexibility, or the ability to take risks that might not have been possible with additional responsibilities.
When we shift our awareness to the abundance already present in our daily lives—even the most basic blessings such as the ability to breathe, see, hear, walk, eat, communicate, and love—we naturally begin to expand our consciousness. Gratitude flourishes, and with it comes a deeper sense of fulfilment.
This mindset encourages us to truly enjoy the richness of what we already possess.
Fulfilment is not something that always requires external change; often, it is a matter of recognising the wholeness within ourselves.
