Meditation is the foundation of everything, helping me be in the absolute centre of myself—the most neutral place where I am free from judgement and can connect with my Inner Self and Divine Energy.
When I find myself out of balance or in need of tranquillity, I seek a space to meditate; it could be a bench in a square or leaning against an old tree in an open space. In fact, you can meditate while walking, cooking, or even having a bath—any activity where you focus and feel relaxed. I often meditate during these activities.
I begin meditating with a sense of gratitude for everything I have, my surroundings, and the universe. Gradually, I shift my awareness from the left brain, where worldly thoughts reside, to the right brain, the creative side of the brain and the neutral zone where deep connections to your Inner Self, Higher Self, and Divine Energy could occur. Once I settle into this state, a conversation with my Inner/Higher Self and Divine Energy begins; these dialogues are usually Q&As and often involve receiving messages—all in the form of energy, which I interpret into words.
Meditation also provides me with a moment to reflect, allowing me to step back from my current situation and see the bigger picture more objectively. These objective views create space to breathe and offer new perspectives on the same situation.
In our modern society, we chronically experience pressure and stress every day, which brings all sorts of negative effects, including anxiety, sadness, fear, burnout, restlessness, and depression. These effects can eventually lead to a breaking point, paving the way to illness.
One of the aims of my work is to promote the benefits of meditation to as many people as possible. By combining meditation with other key elements such as a healthy diet, exercise, and a balanced lifestyle, people can learn to manage their well-being and maintain a state of fulfilment and happiness.
